Privacy

The short version

I collect very little, I don't sell any of it, and the only place your form answers go is the scheduling tool that books your call. If you want something deleted, email me and I'll delete it.

What I collect

What you type into the booking form. Your name, email address, business name, and how many people work there. Two optional fields, your website and phone number. And a free-text box where you describe what's taking up your time. You decide what goes in that box.

What you send me by email. If you write to hello@takovia.com, I have your message and your address.

Standard server logs. My web host records ordinary technical details for every visit: IP address, browser and device type, which pages were requested, and when. That keeps the site working and secure.

There are no analytics, no advertising trackers, and no tracking cookies on this site.

What happens when you submit the form

Your answers are passed straight to Cal.com, the scheduling service I use, as prefilled fields on the booking page. Name and email fill in the booking. The rest, meaning your business name, team size, website, phone, and what you wrote about your time, is attached to the booking as notes so I can read it before the call.

Cal.com receives and stores that information as part of running the booking. I don't keep a separate database of form submissions, so if you close the booking page without finishing, I have no record of you.

Who else sees something

• Cal.com, which receives your form answers and manages the booking, as described above.
• Google Fonts, because this site loads its typeface from Google's servers. Your browser requests the font file directly, so Google receives your IP address when the page loads.
• Google Workspace, which runs my email, so anything you send me is stored there.
• My web host, which serves the site and keeps the server logs above.

Each of those runs under its own privacy policy, which governs what it does with what it receives.

What I use it for

Replying to you, running the assessment call, and preparing your plan. Nothing else. I don't sell your information, I don't rent it, and I don't hand it to anyone for their own marketing.

How long I keep it

For as long as I'm working with you, and for a reasonable period afterward for tax and business records. Ask me to delete it sooner and I'll delete whatever I'm not required to keep.

Your choices

You can ask what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email me and I'll handle it personally, since there's nobody else here to hand it to.

If you live somewhere with specific privacy rights, including California and the EU, those rights apply and I'll honor them. I don't sell personal information, so there's no sale to opt out of.

Children

This site is for business owners. It isn't aimed at children and I don't knowingly collect anything from anyone under 18.

Changes

If any of this changes, I'll update the page and change the date at the top.
